Just a quick note to let you know that dk_sincity is not dead!

We took a long hiatus from the project because of personal reasons (being mauled by college, new jobs, etc), but we're getting back into the swing of things and The Wicked Lie is at the top of our fandom priority list!

Also reasons for the long wait is a change in art style, one that is a lot more true to the Sin City characteristics, and plot thickening that will make The Wicked Lie more than twice as intense as originally planned. We're continuously coming up with new ideas and we promise you'll have something big coming for you and you won't be disappointed.

We'll have more updates coming soon, along with PART II which is well on its way, but until then, here's a little sneak preview of our progress:

You guys make us ridiculously happy. We want to try and return the favor. First suggested by indice on our last post, we therefore give you The Wicked Lie: Q&A Session!

Think of it as an open-query forum - any questions you may have, whether it be about our creative process - how we brainstorm, write, draw, and collaborate on the project - examinations on our characterization, affiliate requests - even our favorite flavor of ice cream! - we'll try our best to answer here! A fair warning: silly questions will provoke silly answers; spoilers won't be given out readily either, although it all depends on how you word the question. ;) So with that in mind, do ask away! We'd love to hear from you!

On behalf of my fellow collaborators, I want to say thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We received a great response on part one, and there's already over 80 people watching dk_sincity (most of which added this over night just from the preview!). This has all basically put us over the top with excitement and gratitude, even enough to make civilized_era laugh/cry in the library, LOL.

We're just as excited about this project as you. We're putting together all of our talents to create this, and it takes quite a bit of hard work as well. So every word from our readers is appreciated and taken to mind.

I don't have a preview of part two to bring you yet (the graphic above is just something random from me). Nor can I provide you with a date as to when part two will be released-- all I can say is keep an eye out because it's coming as soon as we can finish it. We're four girls from different locations across the globe with busy lives, though we're discussing the Sin City project very often and coming up with more ideas. So The Wicked Lie won't die any time soon from lack of interest, because our interest and excitement is exploding. ;)

And lastly, anonymous comments are disabled from now on. This may offend some people but we lack patience with anyone who will come here with any question of our intentions as anything other than simply sharing something we’ve put together. We don’t care about any pairing drama at all. All we want to do is show you guys our project, and we don’t have ill intentions or schemes. As we’ve had problems with anonymous comments in other past incidents, we’re taking the reins now and not letting any of that near our project when we have nothing but kind and friendly objectives. Personally speaking, The Wicked Lie is my pride and joy, and I will not allow misassumptions or accusations to fly here in dk_sincity, it’s simply not fair to us, so expect my fellow collaborators and I to be firm about it.

But please don’t mix that up with constructive criticism. We’re totally open and listening to constructive criticism and suggestions you guys may have, it’s VERY useful and will help us improve The Wicked Lie. We definitely take it to mind for future updates. :D
